Summertime at Donner Lake

I visited Donner Lake with my parents in the summertime and enjoyed the calm, peaceful views. I capture some beautiful cloud formations as I learn to be patient to wait for the best light and share thoughts about how I composed my photos.

Geminid Meteor Shower at Alabama Hills

I visited Alabama Hills with my family to photograph the Geminid Meteor Shower. Although the winter storm covered the sky during the peak of the meteor shower, I was able to go out a couple nights before. And seeing the meteor shower against the backdrop of these mountains was amazing.

Mount Shasta Hike and Timelapse

My family took a trip this past summer to hike in the mountains around Castle and Heart Lake which is situated in the shadow of Mt Shasta. I took my camera and timelapse rig up the mountain on our hike to capture a timelapse as the sun set.
