I photographed the milky way and Perseids Meteor Shower at about 2500 feet above sea level nested in the Santa Cruz Mountains above the commonly occurring Bay Area coastal summertime fog. I also captured a beautiful sunset before the clouds gave way to the stars above.

I visited Alabama Hills with my family to photograph the Geminid Meteor Shower. Although the winter storm covered the sky during the peak of the meteor shower, I was able to go out a couple nights before. And seeing the meteor shower against the backdrop of these mountains was amazing.
